Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Phoenix Suns 9:00 pm
The Suns are 12.5-point favorites with a 233.5-point total when they host the Thunder tonight at Footprint Center.
Phoenix is riding the wave of the Kevin Durant trade and is 3-0 and 3-0 ATS when he suits up. The Suns have been on fire, and there’s no reason to believe they won’t win tonight in a building where they are 21-10 and 17-13-1 ATS.
“The calmness that he has in those moments was the thing that I was aware of…Great players wait for those moments and I think everything’s real slow for him and he just takes advantage of what the defense does.”

It hasn’t just been Durant leading the show–Devin Booker is averaging 36 per night over the past three and, more importantly, is getting more wide-open looks from downtown and is knocking down 50% of his threes.
Oklahoma City is playing well and has won two straight. Shai Gilgeous Alexander has scored 30+ in three straight and is expected to be out tonight. Josh Giddy is posting solid numbers straight across the board, and Jalen Williams has scored 20+ in his last four.
Phil’s Best for this game is Thunder Under 233.5 points.
The Suns are playing with a swagger since Durant made his first appearance three games ago–sure, they’ve scored points in droves, but a Phoenix side who already were good defensively got better with Durant.
OKC has good young players who can score buckets, but they’re missing a ton of production without Gilgeous Alexander in the lineup. The Suns have been dicing up teams offensively, but the Thunder plays better defense than the last three Phoenix opponents. 233.5 is too many points for this one.
Phil’s Best for this game is Thunder Under 233.5 -110.
Oregon State Beavers vs. Arizona State Sun Devils 11:30 pm
The Sun Devils are -10 favorites with a 130.5-point total when they meet the Beavers tonight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
The Sun Devils have lost two straight but were 3-0 on a neutral court and covered in all three matchups.
Arizona State lives on the defensive end of the court and doesn’t shoot well from inside or outside the arc. Desmond Cambridge Jr has struggled offensively over his last two, but Warren Washington is coming off a double-double and anchors the defense.

Oregon State ranks at or near the bottom of every offensive category in the conference and is just as bad on the defensive end.
Jordan Pope is having a fine freshman campaign, but the Beavers are one of the least experienced, and it shows in their league-worst turnover and offensive rebounding rate.
Phil’s Best Bet is Arizona State Under 130.5 -110.
They’ll be plenty of nerves tonight, and bad shooting teams don’t suddenly become better shooters just because they are facing bad defenses, and that’s the case tonight. The style of play should be faster than what the Beavers are used to, which will cause more Oregon State turnovers and force the Beavers to shoot their way to victory.
They won’t do that, but the game should stay close as the Sun Devils are terrible shooters from inside and outside the arc. Look for an ugly, low-scoring battle between two teams that will stay Under the total.
Phil’s Best Bet is Arizona State Under 130.5 -110.
